The results of pilot-industrial tests on the production of a carbon-containing sorption material at the technological line for processing technogenic materials by the method of low-temperature thermolysis at the production site of LLC “TC ‘Ecotrans’”, Belgorod, are presented. The physical and mechanical characteristics of the given sorption material are presented, and the high hydrophobicity of its surface is noted. It is shown that the use of the obtained sorption material ensures high efficiency of purification of model aqueous media from emulsified petroleum products. The use of oil-containing sludge from water treatment as a thinning and burnout additive in the production of porous wall ceramic materials is recommended.
