Corrosion Protection of Screw Solvent Devices

Abstract

There are presented the results of studies of corrosion processes on the screw solvent devices in hot-leaching method of producing potassium chloride. It is found that during industrial operation of solvent devices, there are generated electrical circuits that lead to the appearance of current leakage from the equipment of solvents onto the ground and intensive corrosion of the components of solvent devices. The method for protecting equipment of screw solvent devices from corrosion is developed.
