Technology of zinc containing dust from electric arc furnace treatment with feedstock receiving for metallic zinc production

Abstract

Under conditions of JSC "OMK-Steel" oh commercial electric arc furnace with capacity of 190 tons of liquid steel was received man-induced material, enriched by zinc, by means of remelt of previously obtaining dust from electric arc furnace. This material meets the requirements of metallic zinc producer, presented to feedstock. There is performed analysis of technical and economic characteristics of process, and determined ways of it modernization.
