Assessment of Heavy Metals Content in Tissues of the Polygonum Aviculare L. on Technogenically Contaminated Territories

Abstract

It is considered the problem of chemical pollution of the environment by heavy metals on the territories adjacent to stationary sources of pollutants emission. The evaluation of the quality of territories by translocation index is carried out. An assessment of the role of antioxidants as a defense against stress is presented.
