Abstract

Results of research of influence of ultrasonic treatment on the process of extraction of reducing sugars and time of setting of wood-cement composite material. It proves the ultrasound effect on hydrolysis, destruction and wash-out of sugar from coniferous wood. The article describes the research results of effect of ultrasound cavitation on hydrolysis and destruction of polysaccharide. The dependence of the amount of extractable reducing sugar on temperature, cavitation number, hydrogen indicator is determined. Technological conditions of ultrasound treatment of wood chips are determined. The article proves the effect of preliminary treatment of wood chips on the processes of wash-out of reducing sugar. The practical importance of the research is proved.

Abstract

The results of field research of conditions of creation and characteristics of a forest ecosystem at non-mining sites of depleted roadstone and ballast pits are given. Ecological and economic rationales for the procedure of reclamation of non-mining sites of ballast pits with backhoe excavators are given.

Abstract

We prove the prospect of comprehensive utilization of mineralized thermal waters as a source of thermal energy and valuable chemicals. For the processing of geothermal waters to produce lithium carbonate, magnesite caustic powder and salt developed basic technological scheme of. Implementation of the proposed technology only in one self-emission geothermal field of Dagestan will contribute to import substitution in Russia lithium carbonate, edible salt and other chemicals, as well as solving the acute environmental problems on protection against pollution of the coastal resort area of the Caspian Sea.

Abstract

The research data are presented for ions of manganese(II) removal from technogenic waters of mining processing plants operating in the electromecanical field. These data are based on high adsorption capacity of electrogenerated coagulant, namely, aluminium hydrate in γ modification (gibbsite) that has the porous structure.  Effectiveness of electromechanical treatment of technogenis waters aimed at removal ions of manganese(II) was at least 90 %.

Abstract

A method of recycling of concentrated chrome(VI) containing waste water from electroplating plants is described. Hydrazine hydrate solution is used as a chrome(VI) reducer and at the same time a separator of heavy metal hydroxides, which allows to decrease the content of salts in the filtrate. Non-ferrous metals are removed from precipitated hydroxides by repulping and washing with ammonia-water mixture. Further drying and baking result in the output of colorants for paints and coatings.

Abstract

Results of a field experiment are shown of the ability of Acinetobacter sp. ИБ ДТ-5.1/1, Оchrobactrum sp. ИБ ДТ-5.3/2 and consortium that they form, as well as the strain of Pseudomonas sp. ИБ-1.1 to detoxify oil-contaminated bleaching clay, stored on the territory of industrial waste landfill of Orsknefteorgsintez, JSC. With the help of germ cultures in a year of conducting the experiment we managed to reduce the number of residual hydrocarbons (by weight) from 7,12 to 2,3 – 2,97 % in the first sector, from 22,76 to 10,57 – 15,63 % in the second sector, as well as increase by 1 – 2 times the number of the main physiological microorganism groups, taking part in bioremediation of pollutants and decrease toxicity of the substratum which is purified for the plants in both sectors. Theh best results were achieved when applying the consortium of Acinetobacter sp. ИБ ДТ-5.1/1 and Оchrobactrum sp. ИБ ДТ-5.1/2 and the strain of Pseudomonas sp. ИБ-1.1.

Abstract

In the article the role of industrial zones is shown in the ecological situation forming in Moscow based on the method of industrial impact integral estimation. The estimation was carried out for the city in general and for six municipal districts particularly. The conducted public opinion surveys analysis shown Moscow residents perception of environmental risks assessment and the industrial zones impact to health in the area of residence as well as in the city in general. The main semantic emphasis is held on housing prices dynamic analysis for 2000 – 2015. Along with that the article analyzes industrial zones transformation during the covered period, and estimates the changes in the level of their impact on the urban environment in relation to the deindustrialization.

Abstract

Principles of reception are submitted on the basis of waste products of nonferrous metallurgy and phosphatic binding without roasting fire-resistant composites with the increased service life in quality facing a material. Use highly alumina raw material in a composition with phosphatic связками allows to receive the whole complex of materials of special purpose: heat resisting concrete and solutions, liquid phosphatic a sheaf, etc. The Given materials from the ecological point of view can be claimed directly at the same enterprises where they were formed that is significant step to transition to without waste technologies. Use of waste products of nonferrous metallurgy promotes: to rational wildlife management for the bill involving of waste products in manufacture of ceramic materials; to creation energy -and resource the savings technologies on manufacture of building materials; to rational structure of consumption of building materials in constructions, by replacement of natural traditional materials by waste products of manufacture; to preservation and rational use of an available natural source of raw materials; to use of the saved up and developed waste products of manufacture.

Abstract

The study gives the results of thaw water biotesting with Daphnia magna Straus as test objects.  The results of calculation of correlation dependence between test object deaths and a snow cover pollution level are given. Considerations are given to the results of soil pollution biotesting with Daphnia magna Straus and Lepidium sativum L. seeds as test objects. Comparative assessment of ecological status of soils by chemical and biotic figures.

Abstract

The study gives an algorithm of calculation of allowable concentrations of pollutants in wastewater discharged by industrial enterprises, as exemplified by Barnaul, with due account for limiting factors concerning the entry into the city's sewage system. The research results can serve as a basis for development of objective limits of discharged pollutants taken for treatment by municipal sewage systems in different cities of Russia.

Abstract

Case study of prospects of use of mining wastes in the Buryat Republic. High quality heavy weight concretes can be produced with the use of refuse from the tungsten and molybdenum refining plant. Brown coals, being one of overburden rocks of coal pits, are a good raw material for organic-mineral fertilizers, as well as for new sorbents. Ash and slag wastes generated by burning of solid fuels are widely used in production of construction materials. Separation of ashes into magnetic and non-magnetic, which allows to expand their application scope, is deemed promising.

Abstract

The authors described the problem of environmental safety control at intensive poultry farming, which will be a deterrent for its further development in the nearest future. The authors described main changes in environmental legislation aimed at improvement of the standardization system for negative impact on the environment and introduction of best available techniques. Two strategies of waste management were considered, one of them allows utilizing the time of 'loyal' environmental requirements for modernization of production in waste processing industry and obtaining secondary products – high quality organic fertilizers. At this, scientifically grounded reasonable approach to selection of a technology for production of organic fertilizers that will allow to implement the principle "waste to income".
