Reprocessing technology of electric arc furnace dust Join Stock Company "Severstal" in Waelz treating of complex Join Stock Company "Chelyabinsk Zink Plant"

Abstract

For the first time in Russia carried out industrial reprocessing of electric arc furnace dust Join Stock Company "Severstal" by utilizing Waelzkiln with high capacity (more than 350 tons per day). Run testing confirmed performance index application for this purpose of Waelz-process as environmental sound and reliable technology for reprocessing of different types of waste and middling product of ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy.
